Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England
Stonehenge needs little introduction from me - it is probably one of the best known stone circles in the world. Note that 'henge' is nothing to do with stone circles, as such, it is a circular bank with a ditch inside. The best known and largest is Avebury. The henge at Stonehenge is a very small ditch and bank surrounding the stones.
