Grove Park, Weston, May 2009

Weston-Super-Mare is not far up the coast from Burnham, so naturally we had an afternoon there. It was a lovely day. For the first time, I found the terrific Grove Park at the north end of the town. This has a grassed area, some formal flower beds, a rockery a fragrance garden at the end of a laburnum and wisteria walk, and a lovely garden created by the Ground Force team in 2001 and dedicated to the murdered local celebrity Jill Dando (last three photos).
