Summer Picnic, Highbury Park 15 August

A small group of us gathered at Highbury Park, Kings Heath for our annual picnic. We went in the "Secret Garden" but it was still windy there, so we went on a bit a found a really nice spot. We each ate our own lunch that we'd brought, sat a little, then went back to the car-park, to leave the stuff. I picked up the camera then, and we had a really good walk all round the park, which is quite a way. We took in the bee hives behind the Japanese Balsam (which is very tall and very pretty), the ponds, rose garden, Italianate garden and the wild walks by the arboretum.
