This was on Sunday March the 15th at ½ 2. I had to park on the road, the car park was full, and the tea room was bursting! We were 8 eventually. Pat and Phil were first, then Hayley, Richard and their two kids turned up, then Simon from Tamworth way, and Annette and her friend Zoë, the midwives, came at last. Annette has been e-mailing me about the moot for some time, and I'm glad she was able to make it at last. We walked just about all round the park, past the Valley model to the MAC building site, where the ice-cream van queue was the longest I've ever seen it. Then on round the lake to the Japanese garden, saying hi to the Noggin stone, and then back to the tea room, where it was still busy, but slightly less so. Everyone decided not to bother with it, and we all went home. That was about ½ 3. I was a little disappointed that no one wanted to stay longer, but they all said they'd had a good afternoon.
