Bournemouth, September

Let's start off with Bournemouth where we stayed at the Roundhouse Hotel, one of the Britannia chain, right on the Lansdowne island at the corner of Meryk road. This is a very convenient place: a very short walk to the cliff top and cliff railway, buses to everywhere, and not far from the centre of Bournemouth. It's a nice hotel.

On the first evening, we went for a nice walk along the cliff top towards Boscombe (next two pictures), then on the next day we went down on the cliff railway and walked into Bournemouth, to the pier, then through the Lower Bourne Gardens. We weren't tempted by the little train, but thought it made a nice photo.
