Boscombe, September

After lunch in Bournemouth, we caught a bus to Boscombe chine gardens. We walked down to the front through the gardens – very nice. We had an ice-cream from the pier kiosk which was very nice, then a bit more sitting (and my trying to get out of the sun for a bit, as I'd not brought a hat). We had a walk on the pier and read the history of it, which was interesting. Then another brief sit before we started up Sea Road, which is quite steep and we were glad of the bench half way up. We got to the Boscombe shopping area and found the market was on. We had a look round the market and the arcades. Had a couple of abortive attempts to get a coffee and decided to come back to the hotel on the bus.
