Salisbury at Christmas
On Tuesday it was really quite foggy, and it only lifted a little bit in the late afternoon. We went on the coach trip to Salisbury, for market day. It was a nice run, with lots of thatched cottages. When we got there about 11, it was a short walk along the river to the centre, and the market. It's a nice city, lots of good buildings, and I took plenty of photos. We had a look around the market and the other shops and streets, then went to the cathedral. It's impressive. Funnily enough, the last time I went to Salisbury, in about 1965, it was foggy and I could hardly see the top of the spire.
